“The Crown House” :: Wheatridge, CO
In the Fall of 2008 Tom Wright, owner of the 3rd largest event planning company in the U.S. The Wright Group Events, invited me to photograph the construction of their dream home, “The Crown House”. Tom’s Father-in-law is one of the foremost Green Architects in the World, so their home was going to be a first of it’s kind, especially in Colorado. Having little (to no) experience in the building or construction industry, I was excited for the opportunity to photograph something new. Finding style on the site, wasn’t as much of a challenge as I had thought. The workers had a certain rhythm to their work, which made for some unique site shots. Take a peek at the creation of the Wright’s unique dream home.
Phase 1: the frame

Phase 2: the guts.

Phase 3: Fin.
