Folly Beach, SC :: 2005

I personally think Chas, SC is one of the most beautiful places in America.  Vivid greens and beautiful architecture & accents made my stay in South Carolina, well, lovely.  I spent much of my time at my (ex) boyfriend’s beach house in Folly Beach.  Home of the shag and surfing hippies and artists, Folly was a place where I enjoyed many gorgeous sunsets, my first waves (I learned to surf here), and lots of wonderful suppers on the beachside porch.  Take a gander at a few of my favorite beach moments in SC.  Shot with my Canon Rebel on Fuji BW, 400ISO film, (24 exposure), they’re some of my most favorite beach shots of all time.

You never know when a personal creative project will be used in other ways.  This shot was used as a thank you gift to donors for the Chicago based non-profit committed to peace, the Raven Foundation.
