It’s always an honor to be able to capture someone’s “first”. When Grace’s mom contacted me last month to photograph Grace’s baptism I was honored. I had never photographed an event like this before, and I was excited to share and to capture it’s sacredness and intimacy. Grace’s parents, great aunt, sister, and grandmom were there to celebrate as she was sprinkled with baptismal water. I only used available light, which created a very intimate and grainy texture to the photos which enhance the tone of the ceremony. Take a look at a few of my favorite moments.
