Last month I flew to Vermont to photograph Jeff and Josh Walden-McLean’s marriage. Though I knew well that Jeff and Josh have impeccable taste, nothing could have prepared me for the beauty and intimacy of their ceremony. From origami cranes created for people to write out their fears and then burn them before entering the ceremony, to a powerful message about a box of chocolates that spoke of the beauty and realities of love— it’s a strong temptation for me to share in detail the many sacred moments of the night. I choose to refrain from sharing with words because it would be like telling a secret; and somethings just shouldn’t be shared. I’m not sure that my camera has the ability to truly capture the beauty that we experienced, but regardless, below are a few of my favorite images from one of the most engaging and lovely weddings that I’ve had the privilege of photographing.
….I hope you enjoy.
Thank you Jeff & Josh.
Much love, j~
