ZZ & Biko, Downtown 04.10

Where shall I begin? O’ let me count the ways….

ZZ and Biko are two exceptionally talented actors from the Bay area currently in Grad school at the prestigious National Theatre Conservatory. ZZ is exotically beautiful with a presence and elegance that is rarely seen in today’s world. Biko is a striking man with a huge heart of compassion and the creative power to touch a vast range of people. As individuals, they are inspiring. Together, they are nothing less than a power house duo.

I photographed them on a sunny Sunday afternoon last April in downtown Denver. Because they are such dynamic and beautiful people the trick was finding locations that were “worthy” of their coolness, yet didn’t take away from what they would offer to the camera. Random spots that I had seen dozens of times in downtown Denver suddenly spoke to me as I passed them. Take a look at a few moments from our day.
