Cora & Owen :: Parker, CO :: October 10th, 2009

You know whoever said Global Warming was a hoax needs to think again.  Since early October Colorado has had 2 snow significant snow falls, atypical for this time of year, aka the Fall, NOT Winter.  Well, one of those snow days landed on Cora & Owen’s Wedding day on October 10th.  Their wedding was originally scheduled to be outside at the Colorado Golf Course in Parker overlooking the Rockies adorned with brightly colored Fall leaves.  Unfortunately, the inclement weather soon changed those plans……. or did it?  Hmmm… the resourceful Cora + team didn’t let Mother Nature detour her dreams of an outdoor Colorado wedding.   They decided to hold a private ceremony for the bridal party and family at the Golf Course, while hosting the larger, public ceremony at the Wildlife Experience (where they also held their reception.)  The result:  2 weddings in one day.  (I guess they really wanted to make sure it stuck! …seriously, I’m just kidding y’all.)  Ok, and speaking of receptions, these people like to boogie– I mean Come, ON! I was sincerely in awe of the skillz these folks have.  I guess since Cora’s Dad is a musician, he wrote and performed a song for Cora and Owen, it makes sense that their friends & fam can shake it, and not break it.

Cora & Owen, thank you for inviting me to share in your wedding day.  The two of you are so loving & generous & I loved seeing how well you love one another + how well loved you are by many.  Many blessings to you both in your new life together!  I hope to share many more significant moments in the days to come with your family.  For now, here are a few of my favorite images from your day.  All the best loves, j-
