Tracey and Kaiya, Boulder Canyon January 2009

A new year, a new baby– on the way.

Early February I had the opportunity to shoot a very pregnant Tracey Jackier.  With Kaiya coming less than 2 weeks later, we had to get a move on taking her photos.  Tracey and I met for tea before our shoot.  As we sat and enjoyed each other’s company, she shared with me her love for Kaiya and what she knows of her personality.  I asked her what she wanted to express in our photoshoot and she said strength, beauty, and power.

I believe Tracey nailed it.

Kaiya, you’ve got a very strong Momma who loves you tremendously.
