The Raven Foundation of Chicago

This January I got to meet a very special woman named Aunt (Auhnt) Suzanne (Sooz-ahn).   Aunt Suzanne began an organization in Chicago called The Raven Foundation.  The Raven Foundation was established to promote healing, hope, reconciliation and peace by offering insight into the dynamics of conflict and violence.

After hearing about her work I decided that I wanted to get involved.   While living in Charleston, SC I snagged a pretty impressive shot of a raven on the beach– one of those shots were you go, “wow- I caught that moment?”  I showed the image to Suzanne and there was an instant connection to the shot for her.   As a result, Suzanne is offering signed prints of the shot to a few of her donors at her donor event this Saturday.   Funny, when I took that shot, I was only following the inspiration of that moment.

Following your heart always leads to good things.
