2009, The Year of Wonder

Being the sentimental (schmuck) I am , in the later months of every year, I begin to reflect on the year past to see what I’ve learned and how far I’ve come toward achieving my goals.  I then begin to focus on what I’d like to see happen in the upcoming year.  For 2009, I’ve decided its my year to see wondrous things bloom from the many seeds I planted in 2008- aka, my Year of Wonder.  So far, 2009 hasn’t let me down.   Thanks to the generous emotional and financial investments of my father,  Danny Davidson, I now have all new top of the line professional Canon photo equipment.  My gratitude overflows as I now am fully equipped to capture the photos in reality that my mind’s eye so clearly sees.  Having once been a professional portrait and wedding photographer himself, he knows the importance of having incredible tools that enable you to do your best.  (Plus, I also think he really likes that his oldest daughter is carrying on a part of his professional legacy. )

I truly believe that we are who we are a.) by our choices and b.) by the support, investment and love of those around us.  Thank you to all who believe in me and support my work.  I look forward to sharing many expansive moments with you and others through my photos in 2009 and beyond.
