a(ME)lie.

The movie Amelie is probably the most influential work of art on my photo career.  This beautiful French film reflects the simplicity of the world in such an amazingly beautiful and creative way as seen through the eyes of a1226934270_amelie-filmromantic introvert. (Yes we are very similar except I don’t paint my face white and wear an unusually cut short black wig.)  Amelie has shown me ways to express in reality what my faith has taught me internally.  If you haven’t seen the film, I highly suggest that you check it out.  Or you, could just hire me to take your photos and I could tell you about it… either way.

I take an artistic photojournalist approach to every photo session, showing you a new side of yourself that has always been there but maybe hasn’t shown up for a while.  My gift to you is seeing you and creatively capturing you in that moment.  After all life is made up of many many moments that define who we are. Good photography is taking the time to see and to capture these moments so that they live on long after we do.
